Higo Sense

A telemedical device that allows parents to examine their children at home when they get sick, without the need of a doctor. The product consists of a main device and five exchangeable modules which can measure the child's forehead temperature, make an audio recording of the heart and lungs, take pictures of irritated skin areas, record a video of the throat, and precisely capture the eardrum. The user interface leads the parent through an interview and the necessary examination steps. It is paired with the user's phone and data is sent to the doctor using a dedicated app and back-office. After evaluation the doctor can decide if a real life visit is needed, or diagnose right away and prescribe treatment if necessary.
