A self service, automated beer tap which allows visitors to easily pour their own beer, reducing crowds at the regular bar during peak times and saving on personnel costs. The single unit can be used at small events, while the combined system of three units is directed at larger venues, festivals and sporting events. The bottom half has room for a 50 liter keg, CO2 bottle, cooling system and other hardware elements. The top half contains the electronics and a smart valve that regulates the amount of beer. A display takes the user through the process in a few simple steps. First of all legal drinking age is checked via an age scanner. Step two is the selection of the amount of beers, after which payment takes place via bank card. The beers can then be poured from a real tap. The whole process can be checked and controlled via a back office, which also warns the owner if the beer is about to run out, or any other issue that needs to be taken care of. Despite its size and weight, the tap is movable by a single person in collapsed position, while remaining steady and party proof when unfolded and actively used.
